I went to the open auditions at Manbites Dog Theater this afternoon. Every year, about 25 theatre and film directors gather to see actors for upcoming projects.
Here’s the monologue I performed (from Vital Signs by Jane Martin):
Despite my nerves, it seemed to go well. As I walked out, one of the directors told me I was “hilarious”. Squee!
OMG right now you are the coolest person I know. You’re totally gonna get picked for something and become a huge star and move to LA and we little non-celebrity people will never see you again, so can I have your autograph now? :D
