FLOCK OF CHICKS

A vlog for you’ns! It’s been a while since I’ve posted a vlog because I kept thinking maybe I’d shower and put on make-up before I did one. But I so rarely get around to doing those things that it got procrastinated upon. I procrastinated it. Until tonight, when I decided to record one, despite the fact that I’m sweaty from the gym.

Anyway here it is:

They also have a gift called a Trio of Rabbits, and I’ll admit that I like to imagine them doing a few musical numbers with top hats and canes for the lucky recipients.

  1. i used to give my dad a flock of chicks every year because it just seemed so appropriate. and a lama for ma mama because i liked the alliteration.
i always give at least one gift from heifer. it’s not just a good concept, the gift that keeps on giving part, but it’s just plain fun, doggone it! (no, you can’t give dogs.)

  2. I often imagine what it’d be like to have two chicks at once. But now I have a feeling I’ll be fighting the image of a water buffalo. WTF is a water buffalo anyway? Humans are 2/3rds water and we don’t go around flaunting. I say fish get dibs on the word ‘water’. Buffalo last in line.

  3. i was talking about this exact same thing yesterday with a client! (we were brainstorming about what i could get for my brother who decides to be a different religion each year . . . we decided animals crossed every spectrum).

wait, what?! therapy sessions are supposed to be about the clients and not me?!!!? ;-)

  4. I love it! I gave a goat last year! Goats are my favorite. Actually, I think I gave a goat and 2 ducks, or something like that. But, seriously, “flock of chicks!” made me laugh, out loud. And seeing as I am currently sitting at the nurses’ station here at the ole hospital, it made people look at me funny. But whatever, I can’t not laugh b/c that was funny. :) I am now going to go back and read all the posts I have missed in the last week or so b/c I have nothing to do right now and this is usually when I do all my catching up on blogs.
