I cook! I&#8217;m a cooker!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This afternoon I made breakfasts, lunches, and dinners <em>for the week<\/em><em>.\u00a0<\/em>I win everything.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s start with breakfasts. Take eight eggs, scramble &#8217;em. Mix &#8217;em with half an onion (diced), a cup of chopped spinach, some salty-pepper, and either cheese or crumbled bacon or chopped up breakfast links. (I&#8217;ve done all three. The only one that didn&#8217;t work was when, instead of tossing in crumbled bacon, I decided to line the cups with bacon strips. I&#8217;d seen it in a magazine or something. I ended up with perfectly cooked eggy cups wrapped in mostly raw bacon. Mmm, trichinosis.) Fill sprayed muffin tin cups about 2\/3 of the way full. Bake at 350 for half an hour. Voila!<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6660\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6660\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/avidbruxist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG_4462.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6660\" alt=\"Baby frittatas!\" src=\"http:\/\/avidbruxist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG_4462-e1365381749550.jpg\" width=\"650\" height=\"485\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6660\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Baby frittatas! Coochie-coo.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Then, the old standby, <a href=\"http:\/\/avidbruxist.com\/blog\/2013\/02\/10\/soup\/\">magic\u00a0\u00e7oup<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6314\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6314\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/avidbruxist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/IMG_4224-e1360550019367.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6314  \" alt=\"Nom nom f-bomb.\" src=\"http:\/\/avidbruxist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/IMG_4224-e1360550019367.jpg\" width=\"650\" height=\"485\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6314\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">So remember when I had norovirus? Yeah, this \u00e7oup was amongst the things that I barfed up, so I was worried my palate would say NOPE, but phew. Still delicious.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>And now for the pi\u00e8ce de frickin r\u00e9sistance:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gimmesomeoven.com\/crispy-slow-cooker-carnitas\/\">crispy slow cooker carnitas<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/avidbruxist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Pork-Cooked-in-Beer.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6661\" alt=\"Pork Cooked in Beer\" src=\"http:\/\/avidbruxist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Pork-Cooked-in-Beer.png\" width=\"581\" height=\"189\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avidbruxist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Pork-Cooked-in-Beer.png 581w, https:\/\/avidbruxist.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/Pork-Cooked-in-Beer-300x97.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 581px) 100vw, 581px\" \/><\/a>It was a little touch-and-go there for a minute at the end because the recipe asked for\u00a0<em>broiling<\/em>. But once I figured out where the broiler was (It&#8217;s that drawer! Under the oven! That&#8217;s not just storage!) and got Redford&#8217;s giant skull out of the way, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=YrbY4hsNh64\">I was broiling! I broiled!
