As the kids were lining up, a girl who’s not even in my class (she’s supposedly Limited English Proficient enough to be with the ESL teacher for language arts) said, “You don’t look old enough to be a teacher.”<\/p>\n
I raised an eyebrow. “I’ll be 36 next month,” I replied.<\/p>\n
“You take really good care of your body though. Do you eat lots of fruits and vegetables?” she asked.<\/p>\n
I nodded.<\/p>\n
“That must be it,” she said.<\/p>\n
This is funny to me on many, many levels.<\/p>\n
